NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 12: Protesters gather outside of JP Morgan's New York Headquarters on June 12, 2026 in New York City. Protesters demonstrated against Elon Musk and his extensive wealth following the launch of the SpaceX initial public offering (IPO) on the Nasdaq. The protest took place outside of the bank that helped to finance the historic IPO which has made Elon Musk, the founder, CEO, and Chief Engineer of SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corp.), the world’s first trillionaire. Protesters demanded more equality and an end to financial policies that favor the rich. SpaceX closed just above $161 per share, up more than 19 percent from its I.P.O. price.
