Most Annoying Type of Airline Passenger
Which do you dislike the most: The drunken guy sitting next to you on the airplane, the seat kicker in the back or the lady in the middle seat eating what smells like a garlic sandwich? In its second annual airplane etiquette study, Expedia asked 1,000 U.S. adults to describe THE most annoying airline passenger. And the No. 1 response, cited by 67 percent, was the seat kicker. Following close in the No. 2 spot was inattentive parents, cited by 64 percent.

"Expedia's Airplane Etiquette Study is a lighthearted reminder that few places require more attention to etiquette than the inside of an airplane," John Morrey, vice president and general manager at Expedia.com, said in a statement. "You're in a tight space at 30,000 feet with hundreds of fellow travelers, so even the small things--helping your neighbor stow a bag or switching seats to put a mom next to her child--can make a huge difference."

Here is the full ranking of annoying airline passengers and the percentage of respondents who ranked them as having the most annoying habit:
1. Rear Seat Kicker: 67 percent

2. Inattentive Parents: 64 percent

3. The Aromatic Passenger: 56 percent

4. The Audio Insensitive (talking or music): 51 percent

5. The Boozer: 50 percent

6. Chatty Cathy: 43 percent

7. Carry-On Baggage Offenders: 39 percent

8. The Armrest Hog: 38 percent

9. The Seat-Back Guy (the seat recliner): 37 percent

10. The Queue Jumper (rushes to deplane): 35 percent

11. Overhead Bin Inconsiderate (stows bag in first available spot, rather than nearest to his seat): 32 percent

12. The Pungent Foodie: 32 percent

13. The Back Seat Grabber: 31 percent

14. The Playboy (reads or watches adult content): 30 percent

15. The Amorous (inappropriate affection levels): 29 percent

16. The Mad Bladder (window seat passenger who makes repeat bathroom visits): 28 percent

17. The Undresser (removes shoes, socks or more): 26 percent

18. The Seat Switcher: 13 percent
