Boss Asked an Employee to Do WHAT?!?
The guy is your boss, so when he asks you to do something that isn't in your job description you'll probably do it--even if you do it grudgingly. But sometimes those personal requests are incredibly bizarre.

Find out the best--and surprising!--way to handle a hostile boss.

These requests are not uncommon. Fully 21 percent of employees say their boss has asked them to do things that are not related to their job.

CareerBuilder and Harris Interactive surveyed 3,031 full-time U.S. employees nationwide, who work across various industries and in companies large and small, to find out the strangest non-work request they have ever received from their boss. The answers are astounding, including asking an employee to taste a dog treat and remove a dead raccoon from the boss's truck.

Bosses asked an employee to:

  • NOT to help his ex-wife move
  • take her grandmother to the doctor
  • feed the birds in his backyard
  • get a dead raccoon out of his truck
  • break-up with his girlfriend for him
  • taste a dog treat
  • take his cell phone to get serviced after he dropped it in the toilet
  • help organize her high school reunion
  • help cut her out of her pants
  • shave his back

The best and most effective leaders have these two personality traits.
