Space Photo: Is This the Door to Heaven?
It's called the Southern Pinwheel and is located 15 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra. But the photo that the Hubble Space Telescope took of this spiral galaxy with its vibrant magentas and brilliant blues looks like it could also serve as the gateway to heaven. In fact, what makes it so beautiful and awe-inspiring is that it is ablaze with star formation.
