Fidelis Care Celebrates Opening of New, Expanded Office
FAIRPORT, N.Y., Sept. 15, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As a reflection of Fidelis Care's growth and expansion in the Rochester Region, Fidelis Care celebrated the official opening of its new office at 100 WillowBrook Office Park in Fairport yesterday, with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by local dignitaries, community partners, and employees. Today, the nonprofit health plan serves more than 1.5 million members Statewide, including more than 68,000 children and adults in its nine-county Rochester Region.

Fidelis Care's new 25,000-square-foot office is nearly seven times the size of its previous location on Pittsford Victor Road, and can accommodate approximately 150 staff members in business areas such as Marketing, Provider Relations, Quality Health Care Management, Retention, and Information Technology (IT).
Career opportunities in IT, with more than 50 positions immediately available, are being highlighted as Fidelis Care looks ahead to a special IT Career Fair on Saturday, September 24 from 10 AM to 1 PM at the new office location.
Fidelis Care began operations in the Rochester area in 2007, and opened a community office at 28 East Main Street in downtown Rochester last fall to serve those in need of health insurance, help current members renew their coverage, and to be a community resource for outreach, health, and wellness initiatives.
