No. 9 OSU tops Mich. 21-10 on 5 Forcier turnovers
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Tate Forcier threw four interceptions and fumbled in his end zone, and No. 9 Ohio State took advantage to beat Michigan 21-10 Saturday for its sixth straight win in the series. The Buckeyes (10-2, 7-1) clinched an outright Big Ten championship and will play in the Rose Bowl with a five-game winning streak. More »
 
Busch clinches Nationwide title with start
HOMESTEAD, Fla. (AP) - Kyle Busch has won the Nationwide Series championship. Busch only needed to start the race Saturday at Homestead-Miami Speedway to win his first NASCAR title. When the green flag dropped on the race, Busch was the champ. More »
 
Harvard comes back for 14-10 win over Yale
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Collier Winters threw for 211 yards and two touchdowns Saturday as Harvard came back from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat rival Yale 14-10, the Crimson's eighth win in nine years against the Bulldogs. Yale led 10-7 with just 2:25 left, but first-year coach Tom Williams called a fake punt on a fourth-and-22 from Yale's 26-yard line. Volkswagen program head in Homestead
HOMESTEAD, Fla. (AP) - The head of Volkswagen's motor sports program is at Homestead-Miami Speedway, fueling speculation that automaker is interested in joining Toyota as the second foreign manufacturer in NASCAR. Top NASCAR officials confirmed to The Associated Press that Hans-Joachim Stuck plans to meet with the sanctioning body. The officials requested anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the meeting. The topic of the meeting was unclear. More »
 
No. 15 Iowa blanks Minnesota 12-0
IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - With a bronze pig on the line, No. 15 Iowa put a new twist on winning ugly - this time by taking a game that featured more punts than points. James Vandenberg threw for 117 yards, fellow freshman Brandon Wegher ran for a touchdown and Iowa kept alive its hopes for a BCS bowl bid by beating Minnesota 12-0 on Saturday. More »
 
Wall, Patterson lead No. 4 Kentucky by Rider 92-63
LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Freshman John Wall had 21 points and 11 assists as No. 4 Kentucky dominated Rider 92-63 on Saturday in the Cancun Challenge. Patrick Patterson added 19 points and a career-high 18 rebounds for the Wildcats (4-0). The team hardly looked like the one coach John Calipari called the ``worst'' defensive team he's seen in 20 years after wins over Miami (Ohio) and Sam Houston State earlier in the week. More »
 
Soccer hair-pulling fuels debate over sport sexism
NEW YORK (AP) - The vicious hair-pulling of an opponent was inexcusable. But prominent advocates of women's sports say that so, too, has been much of the commentary generated by the popular video of college soccer player Elizabeth Lambert's combative tactics in a recent game. ``Catfight'' has been a term commonly used in cyberspace reactions to the video clip now seen by millions of people around the world.
