Cowboys extend reign as league's most valuable team: Forbes
The Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable National Football League team for a 10th consecutive year, nearly double the league average, according to an annual survey by business magazine Forbes on Wednesday. The Cowboys, who last year unseated Spanish soccer giants Real Madrid for top spot on Forbes' list of the world's most valuable sports teams, are worth $4.2 billion, a 5 percent rise over last year, Forbes said in a statement.
Froome has 'no issue' with exemption leak in WADA hack
Triple Tour de France champion Chris Froome says he has "no issue" with his private medical records being leaked in a cyber attack by Russian hackers on the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). A group known as APT28 and Fancy Bear by U.S. cyber-security researchers released a second batch of data on Wednesday with the British cyclist among 25 athletes to have their Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs) publicized.
Rosberg expects Liberty to bring new ideas to Formula One
Nico Rosberg has welcomed Liberty Media's takeover of Formula One with the German Mercedes driver believing the series will benefit from the "breath of fresh air" its new American owners are likely to provide. The deal struck earlier this month is valued at $8 billion including debt and gives the American media and telecoms business effective control of a sport run for so long by British chief executive Bernie Ecclestone.
Vettel seeks Singapore success to salvage season

South Africa to appeal Pistorius murder sentence again
South African state prosecutors will approach the Supreme Court of Appeal for leave to challenge Oscar Pistorius' six-year murder sentence after failing with a similar bid at a lower court, the National Prosecuting Authority said on Thursday. State prosecutors, led by advocate Gerrie Nel, will file an application to appeal on Friday, NPA spokesman Luvuyo Mfaku told Reuters.
Drivers prepare for toughest test in Formula One
Since its inaugural race in 2008 the Singapore Grand Prix has gained a reputation for being the toughest challenge in Formula One, providing drivers with an extreme test of endurance in the trickiest conditions. Raced under floodlights on a tight, 23-turn 5.065-km street circuit in downtown Singapore, the 61-lap trawl in tropical heat just north of the equator has been won by three men -- Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton.

WADA says hackers released another batch of athlete data
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) said on Wednesday that another batch of athlete data has been leaked by the same Russian cyber espionage group that published confidential medical data earlier this week. This time, WADA said the hackers released data of 25 athletes from the United States, Germany, Britain, Czech Republic, Denmark, Poland, Romania, and Russia.
