Trisha Yearwood launching new fragrance featuring all her favorite scents
Country star and cookbook queen Trisha Yearwood has launched her own fragrance.
The singer, who is currently in the middle of a world tour with her husband Garth Brooks and hosts her own Food Network show - Trisha's Southern Kitchen, will launch the Trisha Yearwood Eau de Parfum Natural Spray later this year (16).
Busy Yearwood, who also runs a lifestyle brand, recently told U.S. daytime show The Talk, "I have been working for several years trying to do a fragrance. I'm very picky about smells and what I like. I've been working on this for a long time and it's finally here."
The fragrance will be available exclusively at U.S. retailer Walmart and is made up of all the smells that Yearwood loves.
"I took in my favorite things," she explained. "I love musk. I love jasmine and honeysuckle. I took from my favorite things: soaps, candles, perfumes that I liked, (and) I finally got to a place where I'm like, 'I like it'."
The singer is such a fan she wears her own fragrance every day, adding, "I didn't want it to be something that I put my name on and say, 'That's great but I'm not going to wear that'. I love it!"
