Joe Manganiello serves Sofia Vergara coffee to get her talking
Sofia Vergara refuses to talk to husband Joe Manganiello until she's had her morning cup of coffee.
The Modern Family star claims she and her fellow Colombians are serious about their caffeine and she cannot function properly until she has had a fresh brew, so Magic Mike hunk Joe has learned to have a steaming cup ready for his wife - especially if he has news for her.
"He learned way before we got married, if not, he would not have been able to get married to me," Sofia quipped about having Joe learn about Colombian culture on U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America.
"The most important things around our life is our coffee (sic), first in the morning," she explained. "He knows he shouldn't talk to me before I had coffee (sic). Sometimes, if he has something important to tell me, he brings me the coffee, leaves the room, and five minutes later, he comes back (to discuss what's on his mind)."
The actress, who will celebrate her first wedding anniversary with Joe in November (16), has even turned her love of good coffee into a business move, becoming the face and spokesmodel for the Ninja Coffee Bar brand last year (15).
