Joan Collins: 'I was offered Hollyoaks role ahead of Linda Gray'
Dame Joan Collins turned down the role former Dallas star Linda Gray appears to have been offered in a British soap.
Collins reveals she rejected a Hollyoaks part before Gray was invited to join the cast.
The actress, who played Sue Ellen Ewing on Dallas, confirmed the casting news last month (Aug16), stating, "I'm thrilled to be going from one iconic series to another."
But now Dynasty star Dame Joan has burst her bubble by revealing TV bosses at Channel 4 in the U.K. came to her first.
"I was just asked to be in Hollyoaks but I'm not doing it," the former Dynasty star says. "You know who is doing it? Linda Gray."
Collins explains she was too busy for Hollyoaks, thanks to a new British stage show and an upcoming movie project, adding, "I wouldn't have the time for anything else."
