Mel B's ex lashes out at star

Spice Girls star Mel B's ex-husband has attacked the star, accusing her of preventing him from seeing his daughter.

Jimmy Gulzar reveals he considered suicide after his former wife made his life a living hell in Los Angeles, while her current husband Stephen Belafonte "threatened" him at a school.

Gulzar explains he spent a decade often sleeping rough in L.A. just so he could spend time with his daughter Phoenix from his marriage to Mel B.

In an exclusive new interview with The Sun, the 49-year-old Dutch dancer, who was married to Mel from 1998 to 2000, says, "Mel’s a narcissist. She’s always tried to put a huge wall between my child and I. But I stood there like a rock to be there for my child.

"I just think she finds herself more important than her kids. She is famous and the only thing you have in your mind is, 'I need to be successful', that drive is unstoppable."

The former Spice Girls backing dancer reveals he is now a legal U.S. resident and he's speaking out because he's worried about his now 17-year-old daughter as she nears adulthood.

"My biggest worry now is when the fame stops, what then?" Gulzar adds. "I’m happy when Mel has steady work like (TV show) America’s Got Talent because when she’s steady it is good for Phoenix."

And he explains he has spent his divorce allowance on a series of bad business deals as he spent more and more time in America, often sleeping on friends' sofas.

"I didn’t have a red penny to wipe my a*** with," he says.
