Noel Gallagher: 'I'd pay to see Oasis reunion without me'
Noel Gallagher has dismissed the latest Oasis reunion gossip, insisting he doesn't need the money.
The rocker quit the band in 2009 and has been batting away chatter about a get together with his estranged brother Liam and fellow bandmates for years.
The latest reports suggest Liam is keen to regroup the band without Noel - an idea the former band's guitarist and songwriter finds hilarious.
"I'd f**king pay to see that," he tells Rolling Stone magazine. "That'd be f**king interesting."
"We should start a rumor that I'm going to do it without Liam and I'm gonna use a hologram like they did with Tupac (Shakur) at Coachella (festival)," he laughs. "Look, to be honest, I don't need the money."
But Noel isn't ruling out a reunion in the future, insisting he'd be "in" if someone came to him in a decade and offered him $50 million .
He's just tired of always talking about the reunion reports in interviews, revealing he's asked about it every day: "People say, 'You'll definitely reform, you will', and I'm just like, 'That's so f**king rude'. They try to Jedi-mind-trick me."
