Turkey development minister sees 2016 growth between 3.5-4 pct - statement
ANKARA, Sept 9 (Reuters) - Turkey's annual economic growth is seen at between 3.5-4 percent in 2016, Development Minister Lutfi Elvan said in a statement on Friday, after data showed the economy grew at a less-than-expected 3.1 percent in the second quarter.
Government ministers have already said Turkey would miss its year-end target of 4.5 percent, with a further slowdown expected after a failed coup in July weakened sentiment. (Reporting by Nevzat Devranoglu; Writing by David Dolan; Editing by Humeyra Pamuk)
