Mexico tax chief resigns post amid government reshuffle

MEXICO CITY, Sept 7 (Reuters) - Mexico's tax chief Aristoteles Nunez resigned on Wednesday, following in the footsteps of former Finance Minister Luis Videgaray, who stepped down earlier in the day.

Nunez, who oversaw a sizeable increase in tax collection in Latin America's second largest economy, had served in his post since the beginning of President Enrique Pena Nieto's administration in December 2012. (Reporting by Mexico City Newsroom)
