INTERVIEW-Syrian opposition says ceasefire efforts lack credibility
NEW YORK, Sept 20 (Reuters) - Syria's chief opposition coordinator Riad Hijab said on Tuesday international efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Syria were doomed to fail without any credible mechanism to designate blame or attribute consequences.
Speaking in an interview, Hijab said the opposition had solid information that proved Russia and Syria were behind an attack on a U.N. convoy on Monday.
"We have no faith in the Russian side because their strategy is purely military." Hijab told Reuters. (Reporting by John Irish; Editing by Chris Reese and James Dalgleish)
