Russia's ruling party wins 46 pct in election: preliminary tally
MOSCOW, Sept 18 (Reuters) - The ruling United Russia party has 46.16 percent of the vote after 11 percent of ballots where counted in Russia's parliamentary election on Sunday, data from the election commission showed.
The Liberal Democrats party (LDPR) was in second place with 17.23 percent of the vote, followed by the Communist party on 16.64 percent and the Just Russia party on 6.49 percent, according to incomplete vote count. (Reporting by Polina Devitt; Editing by Christian Lowe)
