Toyota to ramp up Mexico pickup truck output for $150 million
TOKYO (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp <7203.T> said on Thursday it would spend about $150 million to ramp up production capacity of Tacoma pickup trucks in Mexico by more than 60,000 vehicles a year by 2018.
The expansion, at its Baja California factory, will add about 400 jobs and take annual production capacity to about 160,000 vehicles in late 2017 to early 2018, Toyota said in a statement.
