Blast in Afghan capital Kabul, casualties feared - army official

KABUL, Sept 5 (Reuters) - At least two explosions hit the Afghan capital, Kabul, near the defense ministry on Monday, and casualties were feared, an army official said.

There was no immediate confirmation of the cause of the blasts, less than two weeks after 13 people were killed in a suicide attack on the American University in Kabul. (Reporting by Mirwais Harooni; Editing by Clarence Fernandez)
