Russia calls on Turkey not to strike Syrian Kurds, others fighting IS
MOSCOW, Aug 31 (Reuters) - Russia called on Turkey to avoid strikes in Syria on opposition and ethnic groups, including Kurds, who fight Islamic State, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a news briefing on Wednesday.
