Married Friends
I became close friends with a young lady at work. She confided in me about her marital problems, and I wanted to protect her. Unfortunately, I ended having a crush on her, like a junior higher. She got wind of it when another coworker told her about a remark I had made. It was something like, "That girl makes my heart jump." She wrote me a letter saying she told her husband, and he wanted her to have nothing to do with me. It was so awkward. I learned not to mess with married women. The bad thing is, I am married, too.
