Overheard
I was having lunch at a local restaurant last week when two young policemen came in and sat in the booth behind me. Even though I could plainly hear their conversation, I wasn't really paying attention until they started talking about women. I was smiling as they were swapping stories about all their female conquests. The first cop asked the second if he was still seeing Ginger from the coffee shop. Now I was all ears because my wife's name is Ginger and she works at a coffee shop. He just laughed and said, "I stopped by last night as she was closing up and we ended up in the backseat of the cruiser. I think the only thing she loves more than a man in uniform is a man out of his uniform!" My head was spinning because my wife did close down her cafe last night. Then the first cop said, "Yeah, I think she has taken care of most of the squad over the past couple of years, but lately she just been your badge slut." The second cop agreed and said, "Hey, she is great in the sack, has a nice body for an older woman, is already married, and loves to please her peace officer. What more could I ask for?" I had no idea my wife was not only cheating on me, but screwing around with every cop in town.
