Definitely Worth the Risk
It happened last night. I stopped at a local carryout for beer, and there were these two ladies buying some beer also. We struck up a conversation. I decided to take a chance. As we walked out the door, I asked them if they wanted to get together for the rest of the evening for a night we wouldn't forget. They looked at each other, and I expected to get slapped or laughed at. Then I saw a sparkle in their eyes as their eyebrows raised and they smiled. One girl took my arm and said she'd show me the way to her place. We headed to my car, and the other girl headed to her car. I followed the girl in the other car. After about ten minutes, we pulled into her driveway. To say it was an evening that none of us will forget is an understatement. I never knew their names, but when I left the next morning, I did leave with a phone number and a request for a repeat performance this weekend. Sometimes taking a risk is rewarded.
