I met a really nice Asian girl, Miranda, this semester at college. I already had a girlfriend, but my friend, Chuck, has been single and on the prowl. So, being the nice guy that I am, I hooked them up. They hit it off immediately. When they were on their second date, I decided to play a dirty trick on Chuck. In my wildest dreams, I never could have timed this as well as it came off. Anyway, Chuck came over after his second date with Miranda and was very perplexed. He started to tell me about his disastrous date. Apparently, things between him and Miranda had become hot and steamy that night. He said that he had this gorgeous Asian girl on the living room floor. He took a minute, caught his breath, and then asked her to "hold that thought" while he ran out to his car to grab something. When Chuck came back inside, he found Miranda completely dressed and in the process of putting on her shoes to leave. All she would say to Chuck was, "I just don't think this is such a good idea," and with that she was gone. Needless to say, Chuck was frustrated and confused as to Miranda's sudden change of heart. I never did confess to Chuck that it was my fault Miranda left him that night. You see, as a joke I had sent her a text message saying that I felt she should know that Chuck had syphilis. What even I didn't know was that this joke would hit her cell phone just as he had left. The timing of my prank couldn't have been better, although Chuck might disagree with that if he ever finds out.
