Time Stands Still
Flashes of blue, blurring the lines
Drowning all thoughts, two against time
Intertwined with racing hearts
Passions unleashed, bodies in rhyme
I breath you in, desperate to consume
Yet always, somehow never enough
Control gives way to wild abandon
Reality fades away, and all that's left is you
Pushing me further than I've ever been
Taking from me what I'm begging to give
Reaching my core with only your eyes
And as love explodes I pull back from the blue
I feel my retreat as the blue fades to gray
A wrinkle in time, this bittersweet bliss
That tempers my yearning
until once again, time stands still.
