Love is Like a Drug
When love is new, it is like a drug
It speeds up your system even more quickly than a needle to your vein
One look and your heart races
One touch makes you sigh
Your life seems a little sweeter
The sun a little brighter
It is like someone has given your entire existence a big hug
Other people's idiosyncrasies seem endearing instead of annoying
And for once, you feel calm
And then before you know it
You are addicted
And it is a life long problem from which you will never recover
