To Sleep Perchance to Dream
As I lay me down to sleep last night
I felt the place where you had lain
My darling my arms and body ached
To have you lying there again
My dreams were filled with passion dear
As I remembered the taste of you upon my tongue
The way your skin ignited, under passions sweet caress
To caress your naked body, to feel your tender touch
Passions flame grew higher till sleep it chased away
With every passing moment closer drew the break of day
I lay back down without you and waited for the sun
My arms again reached for you to where you had been lain
My memory brought you back to me exquisite in detail
Your body came alive for me, your sweet smell filled the air
I drifted off to sleep as I held you tightly there
To soon the dream way ended, the new day had begun
