I didn't have a life before your love.
I didn't have a clue what made me live.
With all the pain I couldn't soar above -
was unaware i had a heart to give.
I didn't have a thought what love could mean
or how much I could truly feel inside.
My life was such a barren, gloomy scene.
I nearly drowned in all the tears I cried.
I didn't know how much you needed me.
I guess the two of us were in a spot.
You broke me down as gentle as can be -
to build me up - now look at all we've got!
Today, I know so much and it's so true -
the answer to it all, is loving you.
