losing you is hard to take
and seeing you just makes me ache
to think you were close to me
is a thought i just laugh at
that last string that tied us together
i tried so hard to bring us back
but i guess it was only me that kept uss close
we were friends through it all
andi need someone who will help me when i fall
like i did for u but u didnt for me
i guess cradle to grave isnt meant to be
i might be a little jealus but i know you are too
so when i think back we were best of friends
and everyone knew we were
one day i decided to let that last string go
but if you tell me it hurt
i'll tell you i know
