was that love? no.
A kiss for when you loved me,
a hug for our goodbye.
Tears for all the sorrow,
that has passed us bye.
I wish you'd known I loved you,
I hope you know I cared.
All I ever wanted,
was to know that you'd be there.
You let me slip when I was falling,
you pushed me down when I was weak.
I was then that I lost faith in you,
But I did nothing, I was meek.
No one sees what you did to me,
no one cares that I am hurt.
Lost love is gone forever;
it's time for a fresh start.
