She turned my dullness into bright
My candle in the dark
But when the dark turned into light
She left without a spark

She took me high into the sky
So high above the rain
But as we both began to fly
She kicked me out the plane

She turned my winter into spring
My heart and soul aglow
But when the warmth was in full swing
She covered me with snow

She took me into outer space
Floating in the stars
But as we drifted in embrace
She abandoned me on Mars
