Poetry: Bitter Poetry
She Watches
by Cole Randall

Another phase,
I'm lost for days,
And darkness all around,
Sweeping in,
I swim in sin,
No glory to be found.

Another tear,
So crystal clear,
That love has left my side,
All I was,
It left because,
My better half has died.

Another rhyme,
To kill the time,
That killed the one I love,
The pain I feel,
This can't be real,
She watches from above.

Another pill,
Another fill,
But nothing can replace,
Her pretty eyes,
Her gentle sighs,
Her angel of a face.

Another death,
Just one more breath,
And soon I'll see again,
The face of she,
Who haunts my dreams,
And echoes in my brain.
