Poetry: Bitter Poetry
Little Angel
by Mouse

A little angel is born in the night,
Her beauty is quite a sight,
Parent watch in awe,
Unbelieving what they saw,

A little angel lives in a war,
Ever inch of her is sore,
Her mind torn,
Living in scorn,
Momma is dying,
Daddy is always lying,
Every night,
It nothing but a fight.

A little angel caught in the crossfire,
Her fate was dire,
Mommy went by her room,
Never to know that was a tomb,
Daddy got lost it
Mommy was meant to get hit,
All the neighbors heard was a shot,
The cops and Daddy fought.

Where is the little angel,
In the ground,
Never again to make a sound,
Her breath taken,
She went in her sleep never to waken
