Poetry: Bitter Poetry
Lost and Found
by alice

I've only known you a week. A week that was forever. Forever ago and forever more. Somewhere between before being and now. I knew you then. I must have lost you once upon a time, Knowing you would come for me I waited and waited. Sometimes so desparate for you I would take anyone and make them into you. Much like trying to mould drying clay, all had too many cracks and broken souls. I fought and fought the sea of lonliness. Fought and screamed for help. You finally came you took me into your arms. And though I don't remember your face I know your soul. You are the one I've waited so long for. You are the the rain in the drought of my life.
