Poetry: Bitter Poetry
Sinister Lover
by Yvonne Moore

Eyes that see no sunshine under the soil of this earth,
Worms eat deep inside of me as I wait for my rebirth,
Sinister Lover you've killed my dreams and hope to face tomorrow,
Take from me my petty soul and my body you'll just borrow.
Taste the salts and feel the heats of flowing perspiration,
As our bodies move together in heated anticipation.
Wrap your hand around my heart then rip it from my chest,
Thrust your pain inside of me and lounge inside my nest.
Sweet intruder full of hate you take my very worth,
Take it all and drop me dead into this lonely earth.
