Poetry: Bitter Poetry
Midight tears
by Alison

During the midnight hours,
I remember your smile,
your sweet words as they whispered to me,
And I know that i'll cry over you awhile.

I can't get you out of my mind,
and i am waiting to get you out of my heart,
and I just can't stop missing you,
But i know that I will if I'm smart.

The sobs that are torn from me,
the screams that i utter,
Are all that i feel now;
it's like you said to the shapest knife, "Cut her"

I will never be over you,
and that is my greatest of fears,
that i will spend my whole life,
shedding MIDNIGHT TEARS.
