Poetry: Bitter Poetry
Cold & Alone
by Cindy

Here I am again, cold and all alone.
Not even when I turn to bone
will my days of being cold and alone
mend.

In a corner I live my life,
Not a part of anyone's thought.
I'm consumed with being mother and wife
because they're the only ones I've got.

But in this world I am a ghost
until the day i'm gone.
and even then I will always be
cold and all alone.
