Rabid thoughts

My mouth frothing as my throat continues to
cough, this disease will never be off,
just when I was beginning to think, my life
instantly sank, lungs started caving in, my view of
the world becoming thin, thinking it was
good that I couldn't pretend, now im
prepared for the bitter end, biting my
tongue as if it were my failed life, the
answers held deep within the blade of this
knife
we wait here while children starve
I won't lie anymore, and to think,
this I swore
