Hear the Calling
by Liz
Can't you hear the calling
Of the sunken and the meek?
They ask for help and guidence,
They ask for missing links.
They can't be heard like noises,
Nor can they be seen,
It's somthing that is felt inside,
Like darkness in the gleam.
Well hidden by a smile,
You never see them frown,
Their secrets- unforgiving,
Love hidden by a cloud.
Living on misfortunes,
Pretending not to care,
They push away from open arms,
Afraid of feelings there.
Can't you hear the calling,
Of the sunken and the weak?
Can't you hear the crying,
Of the lonely and the weak?
