Poetry: Bitter Poetry
How Can I Survive
by Anna Yelick

Look at me
Then you'll see
How hard it is
For me to be
I need some help
I need a key
To unlock
This mystery
Why do I look
In the mirror and see
Someone that
I wish was not me
I am too fat
That's what he says
I'm not good enough
I can't be tough
Everyday I die
A little more inside
When the time comes
Keep me and hide
I need your help
How can I survive
Keep me here
I won't stay alive
No more pain
I won't live in vain
No more pain
There is no gain
Look at me
Then you'll see
A girl that wishes
She could just learn to live with thee
