Poetry: Bitter Poetry
You Promised
by jana

You promised you wouldn't break my heart,
so instead you ripped it apart.
You swore you loved only me,
from the looks of her, that can't be.
You were my first everything
and I was just a meaningless fling
How could you be so cruel?
I thought I was your precious jewel.
But what goes around comes around fast,
and when it does, I hope you fall flat on your ass!
Now it's time to say goodbye.
Hope to you around, with my new guy.
