Poetry: Bitter Poetry
No Angel Me
by Rachel

No angel me
For I have lied
I bury truth
For applause and sighs
Go fetch a guard
All bulk and meaty
And tell him, "Sunshine is no more a sweetie."

It's hailing boredom
It's hailing dopes
From the silence
Of your sick jokes
So I don't laugh
I won't obey
I push the buttons
And do what I may

I stomp on cars
And do more tricks
Shred every dress
Play finger-flip
Cause a scene with cussing!
On a summers day
Wear near to bare
And start to run away

I'll jump out of planes
And cut-off my hair
And I'll never run
From deep despair
Pierce my face
I won't be meek
But I'll be a party fiend
I'm falling more in apathy...

I'm so deeply infected. And I love what's not expected. I was found so I may see. And now I'm falling more in apathy. Whatever happened to Sunshine?
