Poetry: Bitter Poetry
Wishing
by Glitter

She wants to see the world in black and white but all she sees is gray
he wants to watch a moonlit night but when he wakes its always day.
She needs someone to trust her...someone to really care,
because right now she feels as if, it doesn't matter if she's there.
He needs someone love him, to listen; dry his tears,
because he feels as if he's old...been searching all these years.
She needs a heart to lean on, a shoulder to rest her head,
but if these things don't come about she can still go to bed.
He wants someone to look at him the way they looked before,
but if no one stares his way, he'll still be looking at the floor.
They haven't found each other, for their eyes don't really see,
they haven't found themselves, but their spirits hold the key.
But soon their loves been wasted; too fast, too much, too soon.
she'll go back to wishing, he'll still be searching for that moon.
