Poetry: Bitter Poetry
DiM
by RAIN

echoing in my head
like a ghost screeching my name
i hear the pessimistic cries calling
they batter and torment the rain
an unseen thought stirs within
and my soul is left unsatisfied
there is no room to breathe
and i am so petrified
the sun i so wish to see
it hides behind clouds of darkness
confusion entangles all that i know
soon to be enveloped by sadness
i cannot watch the clouds drift
as they always seem to stay in place
so i try to wash them away
with every kiss to a pretty face
but the wind comes
yet cannot blow it all away
its all here for a reason
and it seems there it will stay
so let it be, so i say
nothings gonna save us anyway
ive lost my drive for love
fate tore that all away
i cannot bond with a walking secret
there will be nothing left in the shade
things must inprove or to our worst fears
the fire will dim and we'll be left to fade

Title: I Will Not Author: Marina

I will not think of your face tonight
I will not dream of your smile, shining bright
I will not laugh at the jokes you tell
I will tell myself that I am well
I will not listen to the pleads of my heart
I will not be sad that we are apart
I will not look at your pictures no more
I will tell myself that you're just through that door
I will not miss you because you're gone
but my eyes will cry, until the dawn
