Coming Alive
by Rob a Poet at heart
As the sun rises in the morning
I awaken to a dawning.
Light beams sun your hair, your face,
All of you lies restful while I gaze ...
While you pause, you're breathing softly,
Moving aside the bedsheets quietly.
A hand, a foot, a naked neck
So many parts of you lay in check ...
No longer I sleep a quiet rest.
Seeing you in passion in my nest,
A fire ignites inside my being
I cannot wait till feeling you in on me.
Now your groans waken the morning
The night before moaned out its warning
That life will naught be the same
For time to come it will call our name.
As the sun lifts the morning
Our day begins adawning
Two bodies merged entwined to thrive
As love's passion comes ... alive!
