Symphony of a Sunset

As I sit and watch this beautiful sunset,
My Heart swells with love for a God
That has painted such a beautiful
And wonderous picture for us.
He has chosen the colors carefully
Knowing we would need some peace
At the end of our day.
The bright yellow of the sun
Changes as it sinks into the west
Creating a symphony of purples,
Pinks,blues and deep orange and gray.
Blending together to create
The illusion of fire and ice
All blended onto a canvas so huge
You can never see the end.
You feel as though all you need do
Is reach out and feel the
Heat and cold of His masterpiece.
We thank You,Our most Precious Lord
