Poetry: Lust & Passion
Explains the Crime
by laura K

How can I possibly want you,
Illogically I let myself.
My heart has claimed you now
And my heart said your mine.

You are my one forbidden thing,
I know you have given yourself.
Would you let me own you?
If I begged would your head turn?

Sitting near you is enough,
It torments my bodys imagination.
It urges my body to change,
If you were mine youd burn too.

Your body is heat and movement,
My body is ripe to own you.
To give would empower you,
Being blind has weakened us.

Youve had one taste too many,
You have corrupted me.
Tainted with the crime,
Ive sentenced my will to yours.
