In The Sand

We've always been friends,
Never though of each other to be more.
That is until we sat together on the sandy shore.
The star lit sky making the perfect mood,
We sat, together, at the highest altitude.
The ocean breeze with a salty smell,
Helped put me under your loving spell.
Two white doves fly by,
As our hearts are painted in the sky.
Passion burns, sparks rise.
It's then I look into you eyes.
The moon's reflection, big and bright,
Sends my thoughts out of sight.
Emotions turn and feelings yearn.
We wouldn't admit our love until now.
It's so strong I don't know how.
I lay back, you lay too.
We lay just I and you.
We fall asleep,
Hand in hand,
Laying together in the sand.
