What About ME?
by Jasmine

When I was growing up love seemed so great.
Love wasn't to me something that would hurt.
Love was a goal for one to be happy.

My dreams seemed to be coming true the day that I met you.
We both knew it was meant to be and no one could tell us anything.
We were to be married, and our lives were set.

My world came crashing down the day that your true colors came out.
I still had hope in you because you said you loved me.
Who would have known that love could cause pain and joy all in one?

I want this to work, I want it so bad.
I know it's all there, so what could be the problem.
Is it time I stop looking at me and start blaming it ALL on you?

When will everything be fine, when will I not hurt anymore?
Is this just for now, or are you my future?
I need you sooo bad, you seem to not understand.

Do you really love me?
Is this meant to be?
When will I to stop asking, WHAT ABOUT ME?
