Without You...
by Adam Thompson
When you’re not around gravity ceases to exist,
For this sadness causes the earth below me to move no more.
My life has no direction when I have you not to be my guiding light.
To shine bright and remove all darkness around me.
To give new meaning to the rise and fall of the sun.
Without you near me I feel empty, I feel hollow.
There is no life in me if you are not the blood flowing in my veins.
My body is numb, my mind as well.
How can I think, how can I feel, how can this be?
Is this love, can it really be such?
Why can’t I have you now, to hold, to kiss, to touch?
Feeling the warmth of your skin as we embrace our naked bodies.
Intertwined like vines, yet we connect beyond anything physical.
When will I be able to taste your sweet lips, your tongue, your body?
Can I have you yet? Will you be mine?
Are you what I’ve been searching for, what true happiness really means?
Are you ready to loose yourself in me, in love?
I long for the chance to hold you once again.
To hear the voice of an angel, a voice not of this world.
I would travel to the end of time for just one kiss.
I would give up life its self just to see you smile.
Your smile melts my heart, I get lost in your eyes.
You bring all my senses to life.
Can you feel this? Can you feel me?
Listen not to the words I am speaking, but let your heart be your ears.
Is love not something that can be understood?
Is there no reason, no meaning, no answers?
Until there was you I had no reason,
There was no meaning, nor could I find any answers.
You are my reason, my meaning, my answer.
To have you in my life is a feeling of completion.
A feeling of unity, of passion, of unbelievable sensations.
You complete me in every way possible as we now become one.
Take my hand and never let go, never look back, never alone.
Let us never give up on love never give up on us.
April I can’t begin to express what you’ve brought into my life.
The feeling of loving someone and being loved in return.
Can you feel this now? Are you feeling me?
To smell you, a scent of nothing it’s kind.
Feeding my hunger for you.
I want to devour your body.
I want to taste every inch of you.
Your beauty leaves my breathless.
Without you would life be worth living?
