Passion's Game
by Manuel Sanchez
Faceless and alone,
she stands in passion's way.
Knowing all the rules,
of the game she came to play!
She runs away slowly,
her pretty face undaunted.
It is not love that she seeks,
but the thrill of being wanted!
She thinks if she gives in she loses,
then love leaves only bruises!
What a lonely game she plays,
when passion comes her way.
Her soul provides the night,
but the moonlight left her restless.
Just an arms length away,
from the eyes that she carresses!
If lust is a sin,
then passion is a curse!
And only man she thinks,
can think of somethig worse!
Pleasures of the flesh are incomplete,
She is not impressed!
She is only concerned with win, you see?
She knows it is either her or me!
